Fully managed means you can run your website without managing the technical details. Once you sign up, you won’t have to think about your website hosting much — if at all. We handle it all for you.
With regular website hosting, you are responsible for administrative tasks and troubleshooting and most likely with lower quality support. A fully managed host eliminates those hassles. They take care of security patches, server and PHP updates, backend maintenance, backups, and more.
Managed web hosting costs more because your host maintains your system hardware and website software for optimum performance. While cheap hosting may save you money in the short term, managed hosting saves you money and stress in the long run.
Yes, we have experienced in-house website developers, WordPress developers, and app developers that can support and enhance your website or app.
The control panel is not provided by default since most customers want us to manage everything for them, however, if you really want a control panel we can discuss access.
SSH access is not provided by default. We’re very picky as to who can access our network, however, if you require SSH access we can discuss security procedures and provide SSH access to your account.
The setup of your account will be completed right after purchase. For shared hosting the setup is relatively quick, whereas dedicated VPS hosting can take up to a few days to prepare.
If you already have a website or app, and you would like to move it to your hosting account with us, we will gladly assist you with the whole migration including all website files and databases. This process usually doesn’t take very long, perhaps an hour or two, however there may be situations where a little more effort is required. Once the transfer is complete, we will work with you or your provider to make the necessary DNS changes for your domain name. Note: migration assistance is billed at our hourly rate.
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. The migration to your new package will be done by our technicians at no extra cost.
Yes, as a default we provide a 7-day rolling backup of your account. If you require more than 7 days, we can certainly accommodate. If you require any file or database to be restored you can request it by reaching to your account manager and/or the Oracast support team.
We no longer provide email hosting since we recommend having a 3rd party expert or agency to manage your email separately.
Yes, our Shieldwall Security products will provide advanced security protection to your WordPress website or app.
